Kreativ Design Ltd – What else we offer apart from brilliant signs
As a 3D designer, with years of varied experience in both retail and manufacturing settings I have a wealth of knowledge of materials and production. Whilst the main Kreativ Design business offers a range of amazing signage, for both homes and businesses, simple, thoughtfully considered and beautifully made, I am also very happy to look at unique projects. I thought this blog would be a good place to share some of my favourite projects and testimonials from customers.
Small projects - TV props
This was a small order for value, it is related to signage but I ‘Love’ the story behind it. I was approached by one of the production assistants for ‘Love Island’ who were sourcing props and decoration for their upcoming Christmas reunion show (Season 4). They asked me to produce a small range of bespoke Christmas tree decoration designs after seeing some of mine on Etsy. In return I would get a mention on the shows ending credits and the items would be returned to me after use for resale as one off items. I was happy to spend the time and thought it would be good publicity. I made the decorations, adding a few more designs into the mix than we agreed.
The show aired and I was really excited to see the main show opening feature one of the designs. Throughout the show various interviews with the contestants were conducted in front of the tree and I could spot the other designs in the background. It was like playing where’s wally.
After production wrapped I was soon contacted by the lovely production assistant who explained they couldn’t return any of the decorations as the stars of the show had all taken them! They did offer to pay so I was happy they liked them so much they wanted to keep them.
Bespoke POS - Jewellery Displays
I’ve done a bit of consulting and design work for Jo at Thorpe & Brown, beautiful jewellery workshop based in Burbage.
During their first move to a bigger workshop Jo asked for some ideas for a unit sign, some swing signs and window displays which also doubled up as a way to obscure the view into the offices from the street, this was a quick turnaround so Jo was happy with a few quick sketch ideas which I discussed with her shop fitting team.
The next project was a small jewellery display stand which could be adapted to hold a variety of necklaces, bracelets and rings. A beautiful Matt black acrylic helped lift the speak of the prices on display.
A small range of engraved branded display boards were also commissioned. Walnut, oak or Birch veneer could all have been used but the lighter tones of the birch added a stunning contrast to the matt black.

Photo Booth - The Burbage Booth Co
Scott approached me to design a bespoke panel to customise a Photo Booth he’d had commissioned. It was a stunning hand made piece of furniture which required several attempts to get a comfortable fit for the face plate, but again, the Matt black acrylic paired with the oak gave a contemporary look.
The booth proved a huge hit and Scott’s business took off, he soon found the need for a second booth. After a short discussion we concluded the need for a smaller, more portable design, meaning I needed to produce a new design able to be manufactured using CNC. This was a complex design, many pieces of IT equipment needed to be held within the booth, some fixed, some moveable. The final design needed to be in keeping with the first booth, but working with Scott we managed to cut the weight and size down considerably.
Scott now has several booths available to hire for weddings, corporate events and parties and will travel all over the UK for your event.
